About This Role
Our Fiber Installation Technicians support the fiber jetting crew by preparing the jobsite, handling equipment, and assisting with all tasks required for safe and efficient fiber installation. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn the fiber industry from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- ▶Prepare/loop handholes & dewater
- ▶Handle fiber reels, tools, and materials
- ▶Record production details as directed
- ▶Figure 8 fiber as needed
- ▶Drive company vehicle
- ▶maintain company equipment
Requirements
- ▶Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- ▶Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work
- ▶Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
- ▶Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- ▶Experience in construction, utilities, or telecom is a plus-training provided
