About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Fiber Jetting Crew Foreman to lead daily field operations for fiber installation projects. This role oversees a blowing crew, ensures safe and efficient production, communicates with customers, and maintains accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who understands fiber installation, can troubleshoot in the field, and keeps the crew moving safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- ▶Lead a fiber jetting crew and manage daily operations
- ▶Plan shots, review maps, and coordinate workflow with project manager
- ▶Troubleshoot duct issues, blockages and other conditions
- ▶Track daily production, materials, and submit redlines to manager
- ▶Enforce safety standards such as PPE and traffic control
- ▶Train and mentor crew members
- ▶Maintain equipment, inventory, and report isues
- ▶Drive company vehicle as needed
Requirements
- ▶Reliable Transportation and valid driver's license
- ▶Experience in leading a fiber blowing crew
- ▶Ability to read maps and submit redlines as required
- ▶Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and work outdoors
- ▶3+ years OSP fiber leadership
